The Excel - a roller garage door tested and approved to police and insurance standards
Our Excel higher security roller garage door represents security without compromise. The garage can often be one a weak point for home burglaries and usually houses high value items that are easy for an intruder to steal. All our roller garage doors have built in security but the Excel takes this a stage further.
These roller garage doors are CE marked for safety the unique design has enabled it to successfully complete independent rigorous testing to LPS 1175 burglary resistance standards. The door is certified to resist timed manual attacks that mimic common burglary methods using commercially available tools, you can view some of these attack videos below. Excel garage doors must be fitted internally with the entire coil above the garage opening and are supplied with a single channel receiver with built in courtesy light, two key fob transmitters, a bottom safety slat and an internal manual overide. An optional Alarm is available.
